Our vision is for a society that respects the voices and choices of people living with Alzheimer’s and other cognitive illnesses in managing their own health and well-being.

Our values

    We recognize the experiences of people living with Alzheimer’s, including their ability to continue living meaningful and enjoyable lives.

  • Empowerment

    We give people Alzheimer’s reliable information to help them advocate for policies that enhance their independence and dignity.

  • Choice

    We promote policies that allow individuals, families, and providers to make informed, shared decisions regarding treatment and care.

  • Equity

    We lead efforts to ensure fair access to research, prevention, diagnostics, treatment, and care for every person living with Alzheimer’s.

  • Support

    We recognize family caregivers as key partners of people living with Alzheimer’s.

Our Advocacy

The organization will mobilize and support members to advocate effectively and share our insights to engage with policymakers on these issues in ways that serve their interests. This includes:

  • Leveraging personal experiences to drive policies that improve quality of life.

  • Marshalling evidence on the impact of policies regarding innovations in diagnosis and treatment for Alzheimer’s and other cognitive illnesses, now and in the future.

  • Educating everyone on the shifting landscape of Alzheimer’s prevention and treatment research.

We want to catalyze a political and social movement on behalf of millions of families affected by Alzheimer’s and other cognitive illnesses to drive policy approaches to improve prevention, treatment and care.
