Kristen’s Story

Kristen is a dementia advocate based in Florida who has spent the past three years engaged in advocacy work at both the state and national level. She has participated in numerous community events and media interviews, using those platforms to raise awareness of Alzheimer's and dementia and to share her perspective with the public.

She has also taken her advocacy directly to lawmakers, traveling to speak with policymakers in Florida and in Washington, D.C. Through this work, she has helped bring the concerns of people affected by Alzheimer's and dementia into conversations with elected officials, advocating for policies that support families and caregivers navigating the disease.
